Electroplastic Drawing of Tubes Made of Stainless Steel by Current for Fabrication of Medical Injection Needls (Elastic vibrations due to pinch-effect + electroplastic effect) Prof. O.A.Troitsky Electroplastic drawing of capillary tubes made ofX18H9T-stainless steel can be performed using impact of current on some metal between two current-conductive reducing dies made of solid alloy. The required frequency of current impacts is determined by a drawing speed divided to a deformation length of tubes in a reducing die. The electroplastic drawing of wire made of 12X18H10T-steel is accompanied by an approximate 30% decrease of drawing power (with 8-10% thermal part), by tens % of A-phase content decrease with growth of plasticity indices. A-phase content in a wire depends on the directions of current through a deformation zone. Electroplastic drawing of wire made of X13H13M2- magnetic solid steel leads to increase of the main magnetic properties of metal (Hf - coerzitive force, residual induction, and magnetic field energy). A-phase content is decreased in the wire as well. The microcable becomes equal and free from curls. There is a capability of reduction in the number of wire passes between reducing dies. |
